You Think Of Me When I've Forgotten About Myself

I am so tired. I don't have the words to properly convey it. I feel like I'm about to break. Still, the body can take what the heart can't at times. He wrote: "You took care of me, Sunny. Let me take care of you."
Thank you... Jordan for taking care of me and for one of the most touching morning surprises I've had in a very long time. And D, you think of me in such beautiful, breathtaking ways. I love the gift. I don't deserve it but I will take it.
Zero 7 - "Spinning"
This song is from Simple Things, Zero 7's 2001 debut LP -- an album so full of gorgeous ambient strains and languishing Fender Rhodes chords that the only thing that can possibly rival it is the power of its own beautiful melodies. Yes, it's been said and written ad nauseum that Zero 7 is the London version of French band Air, both bands clawing at the title of "Masters of Comedown Cool" or "Chill Out Connoissuers," but I think it couldn't be farther from fact. All the atmospheric bleeps and whooshes are there but Zero 7 takes a decidedly groove-laden approach. Where Air had Beth Hirsh, Zero 7 had Sia. Where Air had Sebastian Tellier, Zero 7 had Terry Callier. Air was nominated for The Shortlist, Zero 7 was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Tomato, tomahto. Potato, potahto. They're both good in the same but different way. You'd be hard-pressed to find a Zero 7 song I don't like. This song, however, I love this song. For me, Zero 7 is familiar, warm and incredibly special. Like a good friend.
Must crash.
CC: won't it always be that way?
