For CC: The Truly Extraordinary Things Are Rare

Judging by the number of emails I've received since my last post on Ulrich Shnauss, I can tell that a lot of you were (a) unfamiliar with him and his music and (b) you subsequently fell in love with him and his music.

I'm thrilled that so many of you were blown away by him. So go buy his albums. Every one of his tracks are warm-hearted, blissed-out, emotionally-satisfying, and packed with lots of beautiful melodies. They've had a permanent place on my playlist for almost five years now. And I still fall in love with these songs each time I listen to them.

The awesome news is that Ulrich Schnauss is playing at the Knitting Factory on December 30. He'll be here with Autumn Thieves, Project Skyward and Mahogany. DJ Robin (from London's Club AC30) rounds out the lineup. I missed his last stint here when he played the Bowery Ballroom so this is a long time coming.
